What's new in our little corner of the world? Josie has taken to talking to me on the phone. While many parents of 4 year olds would say, "HUH?" I say, Yep, she just now is starting to talk on the phone. It seems that she has always thought that one could see her jestures and nodding through the phone lines. Now she is chatting away. It is fun to see her get bigger and think logically. But, as I tell her, she has to stop growing, or at least slow down, or I will have to put a brick on her head. She thinks that is hilarious. I am glad to know I can make her laugh :)
Barbie has invaded our house. She is everywhere. I am not kidding. We went from having one Barbie to about 8. While I might be partially to blame, I will choose to blame others....Josie can't get enough of her, and now Natalie loves her too- uh oh
Natalie. Oh Natalie! So 2 years old. GG & Pop Pop were here a few weeks ago for the girls birthdays and they are all that Natalie talks about. She wants to know where GG & Pop Pop are. "Are they home?" Where go Mama?" Everything she sees belongs to GG, (braclets, dolls, necklaces) and neither Josie nor I better tell her different! It is rather difficult to explain to her that they are in Chicago and that is a long car ride away. What is fun though, is that she remembers them and wants to see them more. Not many kids get to enjoy time with their great grandparents!
Natalie is also all about "I dood dit" She is miss independent. She wants to buckle the car seat, get up and down, push. pull, fill and empty. Anything that Josie is doing, Natalie wants to do it too.
