Extreme Makeover - Coon Rapids

July 14, 2008

Well here it is...the new and improved Girl's Room. While they were away for the weekend at Nana and Papa Ing's house this last weekend, Scott and I busily made Natalie's room into the Girl's Room! It came out cuter than expected. I was inspired by the quilts I found so I continued the polka-dot motif onto the walls. The girls were both pretty excited when they got home and seem, so far (it has only been one day) to be enjoying sharing a room...

When it was all finished, Scott and I took a minute to check it out and enjoy it, as we both know it will never be this clean again!!

Frolicking at the park

We had a fun time at the "party park" today. The girls were all smiles and cooperation. No arguments, lots of sisterly love. This new sisterly love thing is pretty awesome to watch. It has been a new and growing change at our house and I absolutely love it!
Of course, I was trying to get a fabulous photo of both of them, near impossible! One photo Natalie is adorable, the next photo Josie is.....Oh well. A beautiful day at the park.

32 3/7

July 7, 2008

So here we are growing, growing, growing.....I am mainly posting today because of something that happened at Wal-Mart today-

First, let's look at the photo below :

This photo was taken yesterday.....I will also sidebar and say that I am not looking my finest, as we were busy working all weekend (more photos of that to come...) ANYWAYS, back to my story. As we are checking out, the woman says in a rather quizzical voice "Are you expecting?" I disregard the obvious answer and my need to be a smart mouth and say "Yes, the end of August" To which she responds..."Oh, you can barely tell [you are expecting]" REALLY?? Are you JOKING ME? I mean, come on, I look like a baby could fall out at any moment, and I have an additional 7+ weeks to go- you can barely tell???????

While I realize I don't want people to tell me how huge I am....please don't tell me that one could hardly tell I am smuggling a toddler in my belly- seriously. I know, I know, I am a hard woman to please, but sometimes you just have to say....REALLY?
