One Month Goes Too Quickly!

Oh so serious! No smiles here! I swear I will catch a smile one of these days! Oh, yes, that is a teeny-weeny barett in her hair!!!

Well here we are. September 22, 2008. A month in the life of Addison! She is growing fast, the rolls are accumulating around the wrists, elbows and thighs. I think that means I am doing my part! She is sleeping just a teeny bit better at night. She is playing with the idea of smiling and she laughed at me last night (wasn't sure) and most definitely today! Ah, what a child can do to make your entire being smile!

Natalie asks "where baby at?" first each and everyday. Not Hi mom, always "Where Baby at?" She also does a darn fine job of calming Addison when she is crying, singing her name to her. Terribly sweet!!! Josie loves her too, always wanting to hug and kiss or hold her. This AM Josie held Addison until she fell asleep, holding her paci in her mouth. They both are wonderful big sisters. Addison might not know it, but Scott and I see it!

A Sweater For Addie

Well, maternal guilt starts just as soon as they arrive! I had feverishly made knitted thing throughout pregnancy...however, they were more suited for the male baby persuasion! I saw this sweater months ago and thought it was a good place to start! I finished it today as all 3 princesses napped! Here is the model showing off her wares!

A smile you ask? YES! She started to smile yesterday. This was caught by accident as I was getting her in the sweater! I hope to have a better smile photo soon!! The un-smooshed sweater. I made the 6-12 month size.....I had hoped it would be a little roomier on her.....oh well. I will just have to make another :)

Oh Where Does the Time Go?

Not officially 3 weeks old here, this was yesterday, however, she was officially 12.2 lbs.

Very serious photo here. There was no anything from the model. She was straight faced. Today Miss Addison is 3 weeks old. The time is passing by quite quickly and I am trying not to get too sad already! I woke up with mastitis (many know what that is, for those that don't, check google!) The nice Babyline RN was nice enough to get me an RX called in. I am feeling rather poopy, but know this too shall pass. Today has been a relatively lazy day and Addison had a nice nap on my chest. Ahh...to be an infant! More soon!

Snoozing...

Addison seems to now be able to sleep comfortably just about anywhere. Whereas a week ago she only seemed to want me, she can now sleep in the magic chair, on the couch or while lying on daddy's lap. It seems from this photo she had herself a hard day. 9/8/08

Another one off!

Natalie started preschool on Tuesday. Her first day I went with her to meet her teachers and learn about her classroom. She was so excited to check out all the learning stations. She did not want to come home with Addison and I, she wanted to stay and play. She is very excited to go back tomorrow! Where does the time go?

Off She Goes!

What an incredible day! Our oldest girl is off to school! The time goes by too quickly and than BOOM! Off they go, getting on the bus! Josie did great, and she didn't even look back over her shoulder! She was a brave girl, no tears. Mom had no choice but to be brave too! No tears for anyone! How can you cry when they are so dang excited??!! When she got off the bus, I got a running charge of a hug! When I asked her was the best part of her day was, she yelled "EVERYTHING!" Well, how can you beat that?
