summer summer summer

November 6, 2009

1st family vacation. We rented a cabin in Park Rapids and both my mom and Scott's parents came along. The Petron's joined us for a couple days. the kids had a great time fishing with Papa on the dock...rain or shine!
At the beach in Maple Grove
Natalie loved to swim in the pool. She freaks out whenever you let go of her, but she loves to be in the water. By the end of the week, she was much more comfortable. Papa Ing to the girls to the pool many times.
Snotty, crabby, but, leaving the sun hat on! Addison did not enjoy our family vacation. She was quite a pill and left both Scott and I sleep deprived for the entire week. Hopefully things will go better next year....

Summer. In a nutshell

Summer recapped. This is Natalie by a peony from the garden. Natalie is our nature girl. Loving all things flower/tree/nature/dirt. She inspired me to finally cut flowers from my garden to bring into the house to enjoy!

Happy 6th birthday Josie. Here she is with Kit & her purse cake.
Kindergarten graduation day. She did just fine until they sang "A tooty ta" then it was a sad, sad day. Besides that, she did good. She asked me to bring her Kit doll with to show her friends. She had a special love for her teacher, so she was sad to say goodbye. Nana, Papa & Nana Tess came down for graduation too!

It's Me. Really

A much overdue post. It seems that the last time I posted was March. Yep, 8 months ago. I am not sure where the time has gone, but I have decided to climb out from under the rocks and get posting. This is the day Josie and I went to the Mall of America to pick-up her Kit doll. She had being pining over getting an American Girl doll for 2 years, so we took the plunge for her birthday. To say the very least, it was a magical day for the 2 of us to spend together!
After much deliberation, Josie chose a Kit doll. She was unsure who she would want to bring home. We walked through the entire store, and she looked at each doll. She decided on Kit and didn't look back.
We had Kit out of the box before we left the store. We took her to lunch at Rainforest Cafe, and many people asked about her and if she was new. Josie had a blast "eating" with her and telling her all about the fish tanks we were sitting next to. A day neither of us will forget!!!

What else did I miss...

March 24, 2009

Let's see there are a few more things I missed. Josie is playing the violin. She is not sure whether or not she loves it or it is a nuisance....(photo to come) Addison is loving Ritz crackers, and Natalie is a ham.

I really like this photo of Josie & I.

This photo was taken on my birthday. My 33rd birthday to be exact. Unfortuately, Addison had turned in for the night, but I got a photo with the two other ladies in my life!
I think this will conclude the posts for today....unless of course I find that violin photo in the next 10 minutes until we leave for violin lessons...

Long overdue

To those who have been checking.....sorry for the delay in updating the blog. For those who didn't notice, welcome back!

Things have not been too busy, I just kept procrastinating putting up the new photos.
In updating the blog, I also see I might have taken a break from TAKING photos too.
If while you are checking the blog you wonder about photos of the two big girls, I am still looking for some, so more to come.

More photos

Little Chef. Oh boy does Natalie love to cook. She loves to help, learn and supervise. I bought her a little cupcake making set and she thought that she was on top of the world! We made a whole slew of cupcakes and she decorated them herself. To top that, she baby sister was sleeping and her big sister was at school! What a day!

Oh boy does our girl love breakfast and dinner. She doesn't cry when she is hungry, she smacks her lips!

The obligatory baby in the snow photo! I had not been very good about getting Addison out in the snow. She thought it was fun until her hand got cold from trying to grab the snow and eat it!

Josie seems to be loving her baby sister more and more each day. Josie helps just enough and Addison couldn't lover her more. Whenever Addie sees Josie, her whole face smiles!

Love this photo

One of my favorite things... a baby taking a kitchen sink bath. This photo also gives me an opportunity to show off the new sick Scott installed....But back to what is important. Our cute baby in the sink. Just the right size for splashing. Not too hard on the back and she thinks it is greatest!

A photo Montage......

Cousins sledding in February Natalie, Jake, Josie & Eric
Adventures in eating. Addison has taken quite a shine to eating her cereal and veggies!

Love 'em to pieces....

Living In a Material World....

channeling Madonna.....I saw Josie running around the house the other day and was taken back to the 80's...all she needed was a large gothic cross necklace to complete her ensemble...
(ps...you are welcome for getting Madonna stuck in your head)

5 (FIVE!) Months old!

Well, the time flies by and here we are at five months old...today. I am not sure where the time has gone. I know there have been some sleepless nights, but many more sleepless days. Despite Addison being a mediocre sleeper, she is ridiculously happy. She smiles all the time, is in ever lasting love with her feet and is contemplating getting a tooth or two. She also loves her two big sisters and gives them big smiles when they come into the room. We are blessed, to say the very least to have such a happy, and healthy baby. I just wish that time would slow down, just a little.

Finally. Out of order, but updated!

January 8, 2009

I will open the post with the beginning of the post being down at the bottom...sorry about that. This entire post is out of order. I am just not up to date, and have boycotting technology lately. Please forgive.....

Lots of fun building our Gingerbread house...

Daddy getting attacked by our two big girls.

Mom & Addison getting in a quick snapshot together!

More gingerbread house madness... Natalie wanted to eat the candy more than build the house...

Smiley girl. Smile, smile smile!

Natalie totally worn out Christmas night, no naps, lots of toys and a lazy day in her jammies = exhaustion!

Addison opening her first gift at Nana & Papa Ing's house last weekend. She really did tear it herself. I think she was hoping to eat it!

Nana Tess spent the night on Christmas eve and was able to get early morning Christmas snuggles with Addison.

Before the haircut

The holidays seemed to come and go quickly with the girls being excited for Santa to come and wondering what in the world they would get. Josie only wanted a Barbie computer, and luckily, that is just what Santa brought her. She must have been a good little girl. Josie also got her hair cut, taking 4 inches off. She looks younger, which is just fine with me!

Upon returning to work, we were thrust into the holiday season, at which time I thought I should take on any number of new crafts to cram into a 3 week period. Dang Etsy...always inspires me.

new overhauls for Addie

Well, I have heard from a few people that I am behind on updating the blog. I haven't checked, but I think my last post was in November-
We have been a bit busy since then. I returned to work on December 2nd. Here is Addison on the day I went back to work.

smile, SmiLeS, SMILES!

November 5, 2008

FINALLY! I have captured the elusive smile! Forever saved in the digital world! Addison has been a smiling machine. Smiling, laughing and grinning at everyone around her! I must say that I am pretty dang smitten with her, and she continues to surprise me, even though we have done this twice before! Every new thing she does is just as exciting as when her two older sisters did it!!!

Trick-or-Treat

Here are all the kids on Halloween
L-R: Paige, Josie, Cole, Walker, Raegan, Natalie

Natalie the clown. She was NOT into taking photos

Josie, our Beautiful Dorothy! Nana Tess outdid herself in making Josie's costume this year! Josie looked just prefect in her outfit, with ruby red slippers completing the ensemble!
Sadly, there are no photos of Addison from Halloween. While she did not have an official costume, she had a dang cute outfit on. The kids were just so excited to get going, we didn't get a photo of her. I am sure she will hate me later....
